Spend weekends with the Ocean Institute as we highlight the fascinating world of sharks. Find out why sharks are important to the marine ecosystem and learn about some of the more unusual species in our Sharks of the Deep theater. Participate in shark-themed activities, determine what is fact vs. myth and learn about shark conservation efforts. Activities are included with general weekend admission, listed below. Although the Ocean Institute is open to the general public daily, shark activities will be held only on Saturdays & Sundays.
Special Presentation on Saturday, August 22 at 12pm – Heal the Bay, Shark Ambassador Program.
