Our story traces back nearly three decades to 1982, when the first On The Border on Knox Street in Dallas, TX opened. Originally based on sizzling fajitas, frosty margaritas, happy hour and a booming patio, On The Border has evolved and expanded over time to include a variety of fresh and craveable dishes, and their Bottomless Chips & Salsa, inspired by the cuisines of South Texas and Mexico.

Today, On The Border is still passionate about sharing a love for Mexican food, spirits and fun in an upbeat, festive atmosphere where the entire family is welcome. Their Aliso Viejo and Irvine locations offer affordable daily lunch specials, an awesome happy hour that includes your choice of 100 Beers and Tequilas, their legendary Tijuana Tuesday with their infamous 99 cent tacos and drink specials, and both restaurants actively give back to the local community through fundraising for schools, associations, and local charity activities.
