The Ocean Institute will offer a presentation on Gaspar de Portola, the first governor of California, on Thursday, November 3, 6 – 7:30 p.m.
The presentation will feature Dr. Milt McMenamin, who for 27 years has performed on cruise lines as an onboard historian, naturalist, lecturer and actor. His one-man show and talks on history, culture, nature and art have been enjoyed by thousands. He and wife Ann have also volunteered at the Ocean Institute for the past 18 years.
