The facility will host a Belly Flop & Cannonball Contest, rewarding 1st and second-place prizes for the best performances around.
The contest, which starts at 2 p.m., is open to people of all ages who want to take the plunge.
The free event is meant to celebrate the end of summer and introduce folks to all the Sierra Recreation Center has to offer.
