This prestigious award was established in 1990 to recognize the citizen or citizens who have demonstrated outstanding voluntary service to our community, making this a better place for all of us to live and work.
Nominees must live and perform voluntary service in Laguna Niguel. The service performed must be strictly voluntary, directly benefit the community of Laguna Niguel and be beyond the scope of one’s position (i.e. volunteer services performed may not be part of a paid or elected position.) Service to the community may include acts of heroism, humanitarianism, charitable and/or outstanding service and can be within the last year, or over a span of several years.
Individuals and organizations throughout the community are encouraged to participate. The nomination form can be downloaded by clicking on the link below. The form is also available at Laguna Niguel City Hall, Sea Country Senior and Community Center, Crown Valley Community Park and South Coast YMCA.
The nomination period is March 2nd through April 30th. If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact Solveig Darner at (949) 495-1438.
