Laguna Playhouse’s production features colorful sets and amazing local talent. It’s toe-tapping dance numbers to show stopping ballads definitely exceed the playhouse’s small venue. Notable performances in my opinion are; all of the Dynomites, Allison Foote as Velma Von Tussle, and Kristen Daniels as Penny Pingleton who offered one of the strongest vocal and acting performances on the night I watched the show.
