Registration is open now for the Ocean Institute’s Junior Oceanographer summer program for children ages 9-12.
Participants can attend the single-day program on one of two days, August 23 or August 24, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
What is it like to be a marine scientist? Step into their fascinating world by exploring the principles of marine biology and oceanography.
Your fun-filled day includes a two-hour Marine Wildlife Cruise on the R/V Sea Explorer and hands-on laboratory activities, including a fish dissection, microscope work, and driving an ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) in our research tank.
This exciting experience will spark your curiosity as you dive into the magical marine world!

About the Ocean Institute
The Ocean Institute is an ocean education center that offers in-depth Marine Science, Maritime History and Outdoor Education programs.
