SDCCU Stuff the Bus is Collecting New, Unused School Supplies for Students in Need in Orange County
Kids face many hardships—school supplies should not be one of them. That’s why San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®) has partnered with the YMCA of Orange County to help students in need in Orange County.“We are proud to partner with the YMCA of Orange County to help prepare students for success in the new school year. We encourage the community to support this effort—a small donation can make a big difference in the lives of these children,” said Teresa Campbell, SDCCU President and CEO.
Supplies can be dropped off at any SDCCU branch location in Orange County. For a complete list of drop sites, visit sdccu.com/stuffthebus.
This will be the 7th year that the YMCA is hosting its backpack and supply drive to support young learners in their after school programs with a new backpack full of supplies to help set them up for success in the new school year. The goal of the drive is to ensure that kids in underserved communities start the year with their best foot forward. Having proper supplies allows children to feel confident that they can succeed in the classroom environment.
