The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Announces the Groundbreaking for the New Santa Ana Elks Lodge

                  The Orange Coast Elks District’s “Mother Lodge,” the 118 year old, Santa Ana Lodge #794, is breaking ground on their new 2- story, 52,000 square foot Lodge in118-year-oldocated adjacent to the Orange County’s Credit Union’s headquarters and local branch. The Elks, a non-profit charitable corporation, plan to use this facility to continue its proud tradition of bringing Santa Ana neighbors together to promote and practice the four cardinal virtues of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity, and to encourage the welfare and enhance the happiness of its members. In this new location, the Lodge will play an important role in supporting the Elks local and national programs which serve the people and communities through its benevolent programs, demonstrating that Elks Care and Elks Share.

      The Santa Ana Elks are pleased to announce that the Orange County’s Credit Union will occupy approximately 20,000 square feet of the new Elks facility.  Orange County’s Credit Union has been a member of the Santa Ana community for 80 years, and shares many of the same core values with the Elks in supporting the community, and encouraging the welfare and happiness of its staff and members.

The new Lodge has been designed by Irvine, CA-based Melzer Deckert & Ruder Architects, Inc., and is being developed, managed and constructed by Hofmann Finn Development Company, Inc., based in Costa Mesa, CA. The Groundbreaking will take place at 1751 S. Lyon, Santa Ana, CA 92705 on March 1, 2018, at 2 to 3 p.m.
