More than 200 volunteers from Cox Enterprises (Cox Communications & Cox Automotive) in Orange County volunteered at Doheny State Beach on Friday, August 23, 2019, for an annual beach cleanup. Cox teamed up with Ocean Conservancy for the 7th year, to collect trash at this popular SoCal beach. Adventurous team members also ventured up San Juan Creek to pick up trash and large pieces of debris.

Throughout the day, multiple surfers and other beachgoers thanked the team for coming out to keep the beach pristine. This beach clean up is part of Cox Conserves, the company’s sustainability program to drive positive environmental change.

Cox Conserves primary goal is to send zero waste to landfill by 2024 and to be carbon and water neutral by 2044.
