Dana Point, Calif. – Dana Point Turkey Trot participants can save a few bucks by registering for the 32nd annual Thanksgiving Day event before Nov. 1.
The Dana Point Turkey Trot 5K and 10K run/walk is one of the largest events in the nation, attracting more than 10,000 participants from around the globe for a scenic coastal run along the Dana Point Harbor.
Before Nov. 1, adults will pay $30 to participate; after that it?s $35. For the Hot to Trot Kids? Race, registration is $12 and $15 after Nov. 1. Fees increase on race day.
Participants of all ages can feel good about working up an appetite for their hearty holiday feast, as the Turkey Trot benefits the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. This is a great event with a simple mantra: ?Run so others can eat.?
Online registration is available at www.turkeytrot.com. Turkey trotters can also join the online pledge drive or make a donation to the food bank.
