Future Kids Orange County (“FKOC”) announces the formation of their new non-profit based in Orange County that plans on having fun hands-on science events to give back to our local school science programs. Future Kids is geared towards promoting accurate and effective science education for our local kids. FKOC is seeking participants for its first official event in Orange County. The first event commences on Saturday, December 15th at 10:00 am at the FKOC Science Lab in Laguna Niguel, Ca. Limited Spots are available.

This event will be a robot building event where we will turn a Coca-Cola can into a moonwalking, dancing robot. This fun hands-on project will introduce the kids to robotics and help them start to understand how simple machines work. The plan is for each parent & child to build their own robot (everything will be included) and have a fun robot race at the end. We’ll be taking pictures to put them up on our new website.
“Future Kids OC was created to promote accurate and effective science education for kids because everyone deserves to engage with evidence.”, said Zhiyi Zhou, Future Kids OC Chief Executive Officer. “Too often we give children the answers to remember rather than problems to solve.” “We are providing a fun environment to help kids get interested in science, technology, art and mathematics (STEAM).”
