PTSA HONORARY SERVICE AWARD PROGRAM
Do you know someone who goes above and beyond for our school?
The Honorary Service Award Program allows PTSAs to recognize individuals or groups for their outstanding contributions to our students and community. Through the HSA Program of the California State PTA, the Niguel Hills PTSA will make donations in the names of honorees. Funds contributed to this program are used for scholarships to further the education of young people beyond high school, and to further the professional education of those working in areas affecting children.
Please share with us the name and accomplishments of someone who deserves recognition at the Niguel Hills Middle School for his/her service and support to youth and our community. Honorary Service Awards may be conferred upon PTSA members or non-members, (parents, teachers, volunteers, administrative staff, other employees, and community members or outstanding students.)
To submit a nomination to the Niguel Hills PTSA Awards Committee, please contact Kara Ahmann (karaahmann@aol.com or 249-9851) by April 20, 2010.

PAPER DONATIONS WELCOME! – DROP OFF AT WATER BOTTLE WEDNESDAY
This year with budget cuts and money being tight, our supply budget will most likely run out before the end of the year. Because of this, NHMS will most likely be short on copy paper. Any donations of copy paper (even just a ream) would be welcome and much appreciated! You can donate to your child’s teacher or to the office…it will all be put to good use. We are also now collecting paper donations at the water bottle Wednesday drop off point at the front of the school on Wednesday mornings, in case you don’t want to park and come in. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can give us in this area.
