Dana Point Harbor Partners invites the community to experience the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce’s 42nd annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day, November 28. Participate in races for all ages and then stay at the harbor to enjoy Thanksgiving offerings at select restaurants and shops.

The Dana Point Turkey Trot participants can walk, jog, or run a 5K or 10K scenic route through the picturesque Dana Point Harbor and Doheny State Beach. Kids ages 4-12 can also participate during the Kids’ Gobble Wobble one-mile race. All participants will receive a shirt prior to the race and be awarded a medal after crossing the finish line.

Dana Point Harbor features fine and casual dining, coffee shops, and niche eateries perfect for pre-race fuel, and post-race celebration. On Thanksgiving Day, Turk’s will be serving breakfast starting at 8 a.m. and will offer a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings from 1 – 10 p.m.
Gemmell’s Restaurant will be open from 12 – 7 p.m., offering a special three-course meal for just $38.95 per person. Wind & Sea will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving meal from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. and will begin accepting reservations on October 28.
The Brig Restaurant will be open from 6:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. and will offer a special Thanksgiving dinner. Stop by Jerky & Cali Gifts for a “Turkey Trot Special” of four bags of beef jerky for just $25. Mix it up this Thanksgiving and serve up some lobster from Jon’s Fish Market.
Reserve your lobster for just $20 a pound through October 20 and pick it up the day before Thanksgiving. For those looking to join a fun and festive team for the Turkey Trot race, the staff at iHeartYoga will be making race tutus on Saturday, November 23rd from 1-3 p.m. and is welcoming all ages to join in on the fun. All of the materials for the tutus will be provided free of charge.
