The Hawkfest Carnival is fast approaching! It will take place on Saturday, June 5th from 11am to 3pm. It’s the PTA’s last & biggest family event of the year. The Hawkfest cannot take place without the help of our wonderful Hankey families and friends! An information flyer & sign-up form has been sent home with Hankey students this week. The flyer outlines the various ways you can help make the Hawkfest a big success!!
Among the many activities going on during the Hawkfest, the Silent Auction is always one of the more popular elements of the event! If you have (or know of) a product, business service or something of value that you would like to donate as a silent auction item, please include that information as well and our silent auction chairperson will contact you! (Example Silent Auction items needed: gift cards, gift certificates of any kind, vacation timeshare weeks, frequent flyer miles, free services such as a manicure, dental services, massage, music lessons, legal or CPA services, computer services, etc.).
Other areas where the Hawkfest needs your help include:
• Borrow your Pop-up/Easy Up Tent (it will be returned unharmed!)
• Carnival Prize Donation
• Raffle Basket Donation
• Beverage Donation (soda, juice boxes, water)
• Ticket Sales / Pre-sales
• Cotton Candy Booth
• Popcorn Booth
• Food Booth
• Event Set-up
• Event Tear-down/Clean-up
Please complete the form and return it to your Child’s teacher or to the front office by Friday, June 14th. Or, if you prefer, just send an email to hankeypta@me.com with your name, email and phone number. In the email, please provide a short description of your silent auction donation (including its retail value) and/or indicate the other areas where you can help.
