AN EXTRA LONG MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!
For Memorial Day weekend, our school will be closed this Friday, May 28; Monday, May 31 and Tuesday, June 1. Friday and Tuesday were added about a month ago as a cost-saving measure in the form of furlough days. A five-day weekend! The YMCA will still be opened during their regular hours and if you need assistance with child-care, please call the YMCA at (949) 643-0721 or dcassell@ymcaoc.org. We appreciate the YMCA and their partnership with our school.

CELEBRATION BOOKS LIBRARY DONATION
Purchasing a book for the Bergeson Library is a great way to honor your child’s birthday, applaud a major accomplishment, recognize good grades or just proclaim your child as an outstanding Bergeson Bulldog. In recognition of your donation to the library, your child is recognized by Principal Scholl during the Friday morning flag salute and a “Book Plate” will be affixed to the inside cover of your book selection announcing, “This book was donated in your child’s honor!” Recognitions of book donations are presented every Friday at 7:45 am. Book Club Forms can be picked up in the office. Donating a book to the Bergeson Library is a wonderful tribute for your child that all Bergeson students can enjoy for many years. What a wonderful gift to give to grow our library. Congratulations to Jacob Sprick on his 11th birthday and thank you to his family for donating to our library!
