What is Taste of Capo?: Taste of Capo is an event where approximately 20 local restaurants provide samples of their best recipes for you to taste.
How much does it cost? Will-call tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Each ticket will allow you to try each restaurant’s sample one (1) time.
When is the event? Thursday, October 21, 2010 6:30 to 8:30
Where will it be held? The event will be held in the CVHS Mall.
Will there be anything else to do? There will be music, an opportunity to win great prizes, and local merchandise vendors will be selling their goods.
What restaurants will be there? Cosmos Italian Kitchen, Donna B’s, Einstein Bros. Bagels, House of EJ’s Chicken and Ribs, Jersey Mike’s, Paradise Bakery and Cafe, Piccolino Ristorante, Southern California Pizza, Tortilla Flats, Yama Sushi & Grill….additional restaurants will be added weekly.
What are the prizes?
Annual family pass to the MV Rec. Center
Capo Administrators will wash and wax your car
Lunch with the Mission Viejo Mayor, Trish Kelley (Lunch for 4 at the Arroyo Trabucco Golf Club
Two tickets – Angeles Baseball near 3rd base with preferred parking, Angel memorabilia, food gift card and your name splashed across the jumbotron
One reserved, front row, 2010/2011 school year parking stall in the upper lot
One week stay in Deer Valley, 3 bedroom townhouse during Summer 2011
BBQ Dinner for Four at Fire Station #9 in Mission Viejo
How do I purchase a ticket? You can bring a check to the CVHS front office or mail your check to CVHS Foundation 26301 Via Escolar, Mission Viejo, CA 92692. Be sure to include your name, phone number and email address. You may also purchase tickets at the door for $20 each.
Can I be a restaurant participant? Yes. If you are interested in being a participating restaurant please contact the Foundation at CapoFoundation@gmail.com
Can I be a merchandise vendor? Yes, the Foundation will accept table sponsorships from 20 merchandise vendors. The cost to sponsor a table is $100. We will only accept sponsorship from one of each type of merchandise vendor (i.e. one Cookie Lee, one Pampered Chef etc.) Sponsorships will be accepted on a first reserved and paid basis. **See important note below.
Do you need volunteers? Yes. Please contact the Foundation at CapoFoundation@gmail.com if you are interested in volunteering the night of the event. Volunteers will only be required to work from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM or 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM. All volunteers will need to purchase a Taste of Capo ticket.
