On September 1, LEGOLAND® California became the first attraction in California to feature Nanny Caddy™ – chicly styled vending machines stocked with necessities such as diapers, formula, pacifiers and bottles – those every day items that can ruin an outing when forgotten.
“Nanny Caddy is a great addition to LEGOLAND California,” said Lynn Crockett who manages the Park’s Model Mom Club, “Every parent has had the frustrating experience of leaving some baby essential at home – from diapers to bottles to the all-important binky … the Nanny Caddy will be a lifesaver for many of our guests, especially since our Park is geared for families with children ages 2 to 12.”
Nanny Caddy was founded in 2008 when Celena Lentz, a mom of two toddlers, found herself forgetting items for her diaper bag one too many times. “I would realize that I had forgotten a diaper or wipes or formula after I had left the house, resulting in me having to pack up the kids, strollers, and bags and head home or to the nearest drug store,” states Lentz. “I saw the obvious need for a simple solution like Nanny Caddy, which would give moms, dads, babysitters, and grandparents peace of mind that they are covered if they forget something or simply didn’t want to pack a diaper bag. ”
Other items found in Nanny Caddy kiosks include hand sanitizer, wipes, diaper cream, pain killers, sippy cups and even disposable cameras. Nanny Caddy can be found in three locations throughout LEGOLAND – in The Beginning, at the front of the Park; in Explorer Village by Playtown Theater; and inside LEGOLAND Water Park. Nanny Caddy purchases can be made using cash or credit card. To learn more about Nanny Caddy, visit www.nannycaddy.com.
