WICKED ANNOUNCES LOTTERY FOR $25 SEATS
PERFORMANCES BEGIN WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 20
AT SEGERSTROM CENTER FOR THE ARTS
COSTA MESA, CA – A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for
WICKED, which is returning to Segerstrom Center for the Arts from February 20 – March 17. Two and
one-half hours prior to each performance, WICKED fans can come to the Segerstrom Center box office at
600 Town Center Drive in Costa Mesa and have their names placed in a lottery drum. Thirty minutes
later, winning names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats that can be purchased for $25
each, cash only. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a purchase limit of two
tickets per person. Lottery participants must have a valid photo ID when submitting their entry form and, if
chosen, when purchasing tickets. The number of available lottery tickets may vary from performance to
performance.
Good seats are available for most performances and can be purchased online at SCFTA.org, at the Box
Office at 600 Town Center Drive in Costa Mesa or by calling (714) 556-2787. For inquiries about group
ticket savings for 20 or more, call the Group Services office at (714) 755-0236. The TTY number is (714)

Long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the Land of Oz. One – born with emerald-green
skin – is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other – is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. WICKED
tells the story of their remarkable odyssey, and how these two unlikely friends grow to become the
Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.
WICKED features set design by Tony Award winner Eugene Lee (Ragtime, Show Boat, Candide,
Sweeney Todd), costume design by Tony winner Susan Hilferty (Into the Woods, Assassins), lighting
design by Tony nominee Kenneth Posner (The Coast of Utopia, Hairspray) and sound design by Tony
Meola (The Lion King). Stephen Oremus is the show’s musical director. Orchestrations are by William
David Brohn, with dance arrangements by James Lynn Abbott.
WICKED has “cast quite a spell” (Washington Post) throughout North America, breaking box office
records in every city that it has played, including Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco,
Washington, DC, Philadelphia and Boston to name a few.
WICKED has been declared “A Cultural Phenomenon” by Variety and “The Best Musical of the Decade”

home to numerous free performances throughout the year as part of Segerstrom Center for the Arts’
ongoing Free for All series.
The Center presents a broad range of programming each season for audiences of all ages from
