REMINDER FOR PARENTS OF 6TH GRADERS–Get your child’s Tdap Immunization For the 2013-2014 school year, and all future school years, all students entering, advancing or transferring into 7th grade will need proof of an adolescent whooping cough booster immunization (called “Tdap”) for school in the fall.
Do ALL 7th grade students need to get the pertussis immunization?
Yes. All students going into 7th grade must have proof of having had the Tdap booster shot. This includes current students, new students and transfer students in both public and private schools. Many students have already received the vaccine and simply need to supply proof to the school, so check with your doctor or provider. As soon as you have proof of the Tdap, please bring it in to the office so that we may clear you for next year. . If you have any questions, please contact Kyne Thompson KNTHOMPSON@CAPOUSD.ORG
WARM WEATHER DRESS CODE REMINDER A reminder about dress code since more students have been receiving dress code as the weather warms up. Shorts and skirts need to be finger length and shirts need to have a capped sleeve. Capped sleeves need to be a solid material, not see through or lace.
