Volunteer Duties: Please arrive on time and check in at the AVMS front office-Ask for Janice. We need 6 parent volunteers to assemble response cards that will be used by the AVMS teachers in their classrooms.   We need to make 22 class sets of response card systems.  It would consist of cutting construction paper on the paper cutter, gluing, and laminating.  We need to make a total of 2,640 cards, so it is quite a task.  We would like two teams: 2 to cut the paper, 2 to glue the paper, and 2 to laminate the paper.

AVMS MOVING TO PAPERLESS REPORT CARDS The District has launched the Parent Portal to provide you with up-to-date student information in a speedy and efficient manner.  In this effort, the district has decided to move to a paperless report card system for the 2013-2014 school year. The paperless move creates district savings while at the same time providing the opportunity to inform you with real-time data relevant to your child’s performance.

Progress Reports and Report Cards will be available through the Parent Portal.  CUSD will only be mailing report cards home automatically for the first 6 week grading period ending 10/18/13 for High School and the 1st quarter ending 11/8/13 for Middle School & Serra HS; after this point, only those who have requested a paper copy will receive it by mail. If you wish to continue receiving a paper copy in the mail for your student(s), please follow the link below to request a copy to be mailed home or visit your school office to complete the appropriate request form.
