Math Tutoring available through Saddleback College After-School Experience program. After school mathematics tutoring for students enrolled in high school mathematics courses (Algebra through AP Calculus). Once enrolled, you may come as often as you want during the six week period. This is a drop-in program; no need to call ahead. Students from other secondary schools in CUSD are welcome. DRIVER EDUCATION:
Attention students! CUSD is now accepting registration for the spring 2014 Driver Education online course! This is free to all currently enrolled CUSD students who will be 15 by the time they complete the course. The course window will close June 24, 2014. The email address placed on the application will be the only means of receiving communication so please make sure it is legible. Forms are available in the guidance department.
Finals Schedule:
Please see below the finals schedule for your reference and plan accordingly. We encourage you to ask your students not to text you to be let out early from class during the finals schedule. Encourage them to use the extra time to study for their next final or bring a book to read. The impact on our attendance office for call outs other than true illness is a concern.

Senior Information:
Seniors Attending Saddleback Community College
If you are planning on attending Saddleback in the fall, please stop by the Career Center any Tuesday at lunch beginning January 21st. A Saddleback representative will be there to help you apply for early registration for the Freshman Advantage Program. She is very knowledgeable and will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding Saddleback.
Please note: In order to be eligible for the Freshman Advantage Program you must submit your Saddleback application no later than February 28, 2014.
Seniors if you still need to order your cap and gown, please email jack.nicholson@jostens.com to get your correct size today. Jostens will be on campus this Thursday at lunch. Look for the Jostens tent. They can answer any questions you may have regarding senior products.

Winter Formal 2014 “New York, New York” Saturday, February 8th, 2014 – 7pm to 11pm – The Phoenix Club in Anaheim.
This is more than just a DANCE, the Phoenix Club will be transformed into New York, with Central Park (open carriage rides), “little” Italy (outside area under the lights with street vendors for snacks) and a GAME TRUCK with lots of games to pick from plus…. Free photo booth and free group photo…..all included in your ticket price.
Tickets are on sale now. Tickets are sold individually and you do not have to have a date for this dance. Come with your friends, don’t miss out on this event…..the one everyone will be talking about! This dance is for all grades and guests are welcome (approval process). Charter Bus is available for all students and their guests for a low price of $10 per student. The charter bus (not a school bus) will be at the Aliso Niguel High School parking lot ready for departure at 6:45pm and once they reach the Phoenix club all passengers will have express entrance to the dance (no waiting in line). Then once the dance is over, the students will be returned to Aliso Niguel High school by 11:30pm. The price of $10 is for a round trip ticket. Adult supervision will be on each bus and each student will be checked in and out. Save time and gas and send your student by Aliso Charter for the dance

Help us as we team up with Goodwill of Orange County in helping to raise money for our program while supporting Goodwill of America and their mission to help Americans find jobs!
Please start saving up your gently used items as you clean out your old things for the New Year! You can keep the items in your house until our official drop –off date in the Spring, or you can drop off the item(s) at the Aliso Niguel Drama room any time before then and we will hold it for you! DATE TBD….stay tuned!
Our goal is to fill up 2 full trucks of items to put into the Goodwill stores and raises lots of funds for our program!
There are some limitations as to what Goodwill will accept. They do not have the capability to repair, refinish or reupholster items and therefore cannot accept everything. Examples of items that will not be accepted: large furniture, mattresses, children’s accessories (car seats, strollers, etc.), are rugs, bulky electronics, auto parts, weapons, food, drinks, paper or hazardous materials.
If you are concerned that something you have will not fit the criteria or need assistance dropping off items at the school, please contact the Aliso Niguel Theatre Company through anhstheatre@gmail.com.

Boy’s Lacrosse will be holding their annual Electronic Recycling Event on January 25th from 9am-2pm in the high school parking lot.
Bring all your electronic and small appliances for recycling. All money raised will go to the boy’s lacrosse program.
We are also having a shoe drive concurrently so bring all your old or unwanted shoes with you too! Thank you for all the support!
Boys Lacrosse is having its final parent meeting for this season on January 22nd at 7:30 pm. It will be in the ANHS Library. Teams will be announced by then and it is mandatory that at least one parent per player attends. We will be discussing important information before our season begins. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
