International Festival 2009
Soka University’s 8th Annual International Festival!
Saturday, May 2, 2009 10:30 am to 5:30 pm Free Admission!

SUA’s International Festival is part of Orange County’s Imagination Celebration, held in cooperation with Arts Orange County and the OC Department of Education. The Imagination Celebration flyer is sent home with every elementary school child attending public school in Orange County in mid-April.
Join Soka University for a wonderful day of international music and dance featuring over 600 performers on 3 stages (see program with last year’s performance schedule) over 125 non-profit and business exhibitors, ceramic art sale, international food, dance demonstrations, workshops, art exhibitions, games, bounce house, super slide and more! Admission is FREE. Parking on campus is $10 cash. Please carpool!
Registration is open for both performers and exhibitors for the 2009 festival.
Groups interested in volunteering to perform on May 2, 2009 are invited to fill out an Entertainer’s Registration form. Questions? Contact lu@soka.edu or (949) 480-4083. We thank all of our volunteer entertainers, who will each receive a festival t-shirt.
Exhibitors: Non-profit organizations ($35), businesses and crafters ($125) are invited to register early for the May 2, 2009 International Festival to get first choice of locations for a table and 2 chairs. Only non-profit groups may sign up to serve food. Restaurants are invited to partner with SUA student clubs or other non-profit groups to participate — and we are always happy to “match” you with a group. Please fill out the 2009 Exhibitor Registration Form and return it by April 15, 2009. Confirmed exhibitors will be listed at www.soka.edu/exhibitors with status of application and assigned exhibit space. This IS your confirmation! If you have not had the opportunity to visit our new campus recently and you would like to do so, please note that we have regular tours at 10 am and 2 pm Monday-Friday and we’d be delighted to show you our campus.
