Coming this Friday, Saturday and Sunday to the Long Beach Playhouse, award-winning actress and playwright, Terra Taylor Knudson brings her special brand of wit, humor and history with a new solo act; A Rose by Any Other Name, about her life-long relationship with Shakespeare.
In parts humorous and touching A Rose by Any Other Name is a unique blend of lively personal narrative and memorable snapshots from the plays as Terra examines the significant relationships in her life through the lens of some of Shakespeare’s greatest women and illustrates how there is a bit of the Bard within each of us.
This delightful celebration of the trials and tribulations of growing up is sure to tickle the fancy of Shakespeare scholars and newbies alike and promises to shed light and laughter on the dynamic women who broke the mold and rocked the Tower of London!
