Well, now that you’ve gotten most of your Fall schedules, we hope you will join CSS this Fall for some exciting producitons and classes!

Parents, please come in to the Theater the first day of class for a short meeting to pick up the Semester Important Dates sheet & Semester Information! You can also ask any questions you might have at that time.

Studio B Classes!
Studio B Acting 100
Miss Tracey teaches this fun & educational acting class for ages 7 – 12. Each week, students work from current television scripts like iCarly & Hanna Montana while learning acting technique. Must take Acting 100 twice before graduating to Acting 200. Limit is 12 students.
Tuesdays 5:30 – 6:30
$125 per 8 week session
Ages: 7 – 12
Miss Tracey
Acting 200 Graduates of Acting 100 go on to more intensive work in specific areas of the performing arts field including building characters, plays, & monologues. NEW: This semester, acting 200 students will be working ON CAMERA! Each week, the students will learn a scene/commercial and with end of session critique on camera. Limit 12 students.

Teen Intensive
For the mature actor only ages 13+! Teens will explore acting on a deeper level with serious subject matter. (Parents will be informed of all material prior to class). Class will include instruction in sense memory, creating emotion & building characters.

*Mr. Rudolph’s work with the Teens this summer during Shakespeare & Twilight was breathtaking!
Comedy Improv Class with Devin Dugan
Devin Dugan is a world reknown comedy actor & teacher. Devin has been all over the world teaching and performing. He was a member of the famous 2nd City Chicago Improv Troupe & Groundlings in LA where fellow classmates Will Farrell & other SNL Alumni honed their craft. Devin has also written several books!
Devin teaches the fundamentals of comedy in a family oreinted environment. I can’t tell everyone how much of a gift he is to our school and we are honored to have him teaching here. Devin and I hope to build a comedy school here together at CSS! Think a very child-friendly version of “Who’s Line Is It Anyway”!

Dancing for MT (Let’s Dance!)
This is a class for the performer who would like to gain more knowledge as well as coordination in the basic steps and terminology of dance used in most Musical Theater Shows. Students will begin with warm ups, accross the floor and end with a fun dance combination!
Thursday 5:00 – 6:00 – Ages 7 ~ 10
Thursday 6:00 – 7:00 ~ Ages 11 – Teen

Singing Chorus Style – FREE TO MT STUDENTS!
Think “Glee”, well the vocal instruction part of it! Students will break off into groups and harmonies to work on songs from our current show while stregthening their voice!

CALLING ALL PARENTS!
Did you ever dream about being on stage but felt, oh I’m too old for that now! YOU ARE NOT! Come on down next Friday night and give it a shot!
CSS has a wonderful group of adults now going into our 3rd show! No one had done it before but we all support and love each other tremendously! Each week we bring wine, cheese, snacks etc. Don’t get me wrong, we work & really hard mind you!
The first day is always the hardest – but don’t worry! No one has experience except the instructors and everyone wants to be there for you!
