Aliso Viejo’s first independent Chamber of Commerce formally installed its first Board of Directors for 2012-2013 at a dinner at Renaissance ClubSport on January 24, 2013

Aliso Viejo, CA — Over 70 local business leaders, city council members, and legislative representatives attended the first Board Installation Dinner for Aliso Viejo’s first independent Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Renaissance ClubSport.
The Chamber has already grown to 67 members since it’s Kick-Off Gala in Sept. 2012. Special recognition was given at the Installation Dinner to the hard working Advisory Committee that helped draft the by-laws and set up the new chamber and to all of the new Board Members.
Mayor Carmen Cave congratulated the new chamber and representatives from Supervisor Pat Bates, State Senator Mimi Walters, Assemblywoman Diane Harkey and Congressman Dana Rohrabacher presented certificates to the newly installed board members.
Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce’s 2012-2013 Board Members are Julie Wright, president; Richard Fisher, president-elect; Ed Tomlin, vice president; Nicole Hensley, secretary; Bill Klamforth, treasurer; Jon Driscoll, Wendy Harder, Eric Hauber, Mark Montgomery, Beau Nokes, Park Randazzo, Gary Williams, and Michelle Williams.
Founding President Julie Wright was honored with the “Wooden Spoon” Award symbolizing her current gaveling at Cosmos Italian Kitchen – where the Chamber Board holds its monthly planning meetings.
Upcoming Aliso Viejo Chamber events include a “Fabulous February Education Breakfast” on Risk Management on Feb. 20, 2013, 7:30 am, Aliso Viejo Country Club and a “Viva Italia” Night at Cosmos Italian Kitchen on March 20, 2013, from 5:30 – 7:30 pm.
