Embracing Aliso Viejo’s slogan, “Aliso Viejo – Experience it All,” the City is launching a photo contest calling for residents, businesses and organizations to submit photos of places, faces, features, activities and events that capture the true essence of life in Aliso Viejo.
The submissions must include a name such as “Winter in Aliso Viejo” or “A great place for families” to go along with the theme of the photo.
and will be judged on technical quality (sharpness and correct exposure), content, composition, originality, theme and surroundings.
The winners will be recognized at a City Council meeting, receive a special gift and their photos will be posted to the City’s website and social media sites.
Contest rules:
1. High-resolution entries must be emailed to kcrocker@cityofalisoviejo.com or dropped off at City Hall, 12 Journey, Suite 100.
2. All photos become the property of the City of Aliso Viejo, which may use the photos in its publications, educational programs and publicity efforts. Prize-winning photos will be featured in the Council Chambers. Contestants must know the names and addresses of any identifiable people in the photos who must also sign an affidavit of release without compensation.
