New extended hours at Aquatic Center beginning June 1
The Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center is gearing up for the summer season with new hours starting June 1 and opportunities for guests.
Providing even more time for people to make a splash, the center’s summer operating hours (listed below) have been extended — and guests can now bring their own favorite snacks or lunch to the pool.
Monday: 9 am-8 pm
Tuesday: 6:30 am-8 pm
Wednesday: 9 am-8 pm
Thursday: 6:30 am-8 pm
Friday: 9 am-5 pm
Saturday: 9 am-5 pm
Sunday: 9 am-5 pm
Now is also the time to sign up for swim lessons or enroll your youngster in the popular Flying Fish Swim Team. To register or for more information, visit cityofalisoviejo.com.

Free Document Shredding & E-Waste Collection: Saturday, June 23, 9 a.m. to noon in Soka University, Parking Lot A at 1 University Drive. Furry Friends Pet Fair: Saturday, August 4, 9 a.m. to noon at the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center parking lot and neighboring Vista Park, 29 Santa Barbara Drive. The event includes everything to keep your pets happy and healthy including pet exams, low-cost vaccinations, micro-chipping and more. Several vendors will be on hand with products and giveaways. Wedgewood Aliso Viejo Summer Wedding Fair: Wednesday, August 22, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Aliso Viejo Center. This fun event showcases the center’s vast amenities and gives couples and families the chance to tour the property, meet vendors, sample delectable appetizers , nd entrees, toast with drinks and play wedding games.
