Segerstrom Center for the Arts proudly presents Pasek And Paul: Up Close and Personal with Special Guests, an exclusive one-night-only event featuring the acclaimed Tony Award®-winning duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul on January 7, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. Pasek and Paul wrote the music and lyrics for Dear Evan Hansen, the winner of six 2017 Tony Awards®, including Best Musical and Best Original Score and the Grammy® for Best Musical Theatre Album.

It will be a star-powered evening during which the audience will have a rare opportunity to get to know the personalities behind one of the entertainment world’s most celebrated creative partnerships through conversation and Q&A.

Joined by special guests to be announced later, audiences can also expect to hear selections from the pair’s esteemed volume of work which also includes Academy Award®-winning composition for hit films La La Land and The Greatest Showman. American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) Director of Musical Theatre Michael A. Kerker will moderate the evening, as he has for Segerstrom Center special evenings with Stephen Sondheim, Jerry Herman, and Barbara Cook.
