Spring has sprung, and what better way to celebrate than to enjoy FREE performances and events on the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza at Segerstrom Center for the Arts? We have something for everyone to enjoy, whether you’re spending a day with the family or a night out with friends. Tuesday Night Dance is back with five full weeks of Broadway Boogie! Learn from the best with dance veteran Juliet Schulein, who previously graced Broadway stages in On the Town, Chicago, and A Christmas Carol.

They say that April showers bring May flowers. Here at Segerstrom Center, April will rain Cats and Dogs! During the Broadway run of Cats, the second annual DogFest Orange County will take place on Argyros Plaza on April 13. This community-based festival celebrates our canine friends beginning with human and dog-friendly yoga, inspiring speakers, a Disc Dog performance, dog demonstrations, music, food and more. Whether you have a dog or simply love them, everyone is invited to join—four-legged friends included!

Back by popular demand, Segerstrom Silent Disco on April 27 will be sure to draw a crowd. Check out a
free pair of our light-up headphones and tune in to your favorite of three music channels. Our three silent DJs
play everything from Top 40 to classic party hits. Dance the night away as they battle to bring you the best
tunes.  April also features back to back local musical talent including solo acoustic guitarist Jabe Amato on April 11
and Bolero trio Tres Souls on April 12.

Tuesday Night Dance

6:30 – 7:30 pm
Grab your dancing shoes and join us every Tuesday night for a free dance class! Every month, learn a
different style of dance, guided by our expert instructors. All experience levels are welcome.
In April, get up and get moving with Broadway Boogie! Get ready to learn a Broadway-style dance with our
magnificent instructor Juliet Schulein, who performed in the Broadway shows On The Town, Chicago, and A
Christmas Carol.


Live on Argyros Stage: Jabe Amato
Thursday, April 11
6:15 – 7:15 pm
Solo acoustic guitarist and one-man band, Jabe Amato was raised in Orange County on classic rock, blues
and soul music. Explore his signature sound on the Argyros Plaza!

Live on Argyros Stage: Tres Souls
Friday, April 12
6:15 – 7:15 pm
Tres Souls, comprised of members Roberto Carlos, Jesús Martínez, and Rocio Mendoza represents a revival
of trio romántico music. They relive the vintage sounds and songs of the 1940s -1960s Bolero style that was
popularized during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. Tres Souls creates a festive and nostalgic celebration!

DogFest Orange County
Saturday, April 13
9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Join the fun at DogFest Orange County, a community-based festival that brings dog lovers together for a
cause. Whether you have a dog or simply love them, spend the day at DogFest and celebrate our canine
friends and heroes that bring joy to our lives. Gather your friends, family and dogs and head to Argyros Plaza
for the second annual DogFest in the Los Angeles-Orange County area. Everyone is invited to join us for a
day of fun, festivities, inspiring speakers, disc dog demonstrations, music, food, and opportunities to give to
Canine Companions for Independence, who matches assistance dogs with children, adults, and veterans with
disabilities free of charge.

Segerstrom Silent Disco
Saturday, April 27
7:00-10:00 pm

Join the crowd on the dance floor for a Saturday night silent disco! Grab a pair of our light-up headphones
and tune in to your favorite one of our three Silent DJs as they battle to bring you the best music of the
evening.
