The Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center is gearing up for a brief winter break along with specials next month. The picturesque facility at 29 Santa Barbara Drive will be closed from Dec. 15 through Jan. 4. (The center will also close on Thanksgiving.) All swim lessons during the first part of December will be available at 50 percent off regular pricing. The City of Aliso Viejo contracts with Premier Aquatic Services to run the facility. After the holidays, people who swim during the month of January will be added to the “Polar Bear Club” and receive a Premier Swim Academy beanie and club T-shirt.
