AT FESTIVAL OF ARTS COOKING SERIES


Lewis Butler, Executive Chef of Center Club in Costa Mesa brings his culinary expertise to the Festival of Arts “Art of Cooking” series on Sunday, July 14 from 1-2pm. Festival visitors will have the opportunity to watch Chef Lewis at work, follow along with recipes, and sample the creations of this award-winning chef.

Canadian born Lewis Butler graduated from Summerset College of Applied Arts and Technology in England earning five diplomas in the Cooking for the Catering Industry. He has served Hollywood’s elite, planning and executing menus for Oscar parties, movie premiers and celebrity weddings. As a chef, Lewis has shared his culinary talent at Four Seasons hotels all over the country, Rancho Bernardo Inn, Splashes Restaurant at Laguna Beach’s Surf and Sand resort, and is currently the Executive Chef at the Prestigious Center Club in Costa Mesa.

Located on the garden level of the award-winning Center Tower, the Club is adjacent to the Orange County Performing Arts Center. Foodies rejoice every Sunday from 1-2pm at the Festival of Arts’ “Art of Cooking” series. Every Sunday between July 7 and August 25, this special event series takes place in the Festival Art Center and is free with Festival admission.

The Festival of Arts is open daily from June 30 – August 31, 2013, from 10am to 11:30pm (Early closing at 6pm June 30 – July 4 and 3:30pm on August 24). General Admission: Weekdays $7, Weekends $10; Students & Seniors: Weekdays $4, Weekends $6; Free Admission for Children 12 and under, Military, and Laguna Beach Residents.

A special promotion (funded in part by Bank of America) offers patrons the opportunity to purchase a Passport to the Artsfor only $21.50.  Receive unlimited admission all summer long to The Festival of Arts, the Sawdust Art Festival and Art-A-Fair.
