DANA POINT, CA– The Ocean Institute will present its next Artist by the Sea presentation, an evening with underwater filmmakers Howard and Michele Hall, on Thursday, October 29, 7 p.m. The Halls will discuss their experiences filming marine wildlife during the making of the IMAX 3D feature film, Under the Sea 3D.
Over the last 15 years, Howard has directed and Michele has produced four IMAX wildlife films. Their presentation will highlight the challenges, adventure, and misadventure of attempting to capture marine wildlife behavior with an underwater camera system that weighs over 1,200 lbs.
