Tickets on sale for the October 23 Artists Home Tour with Laguna Beach Art Tours.
Laguna Beach, CA – For those seeking a cultural excursion, Laguna Beach Art Tours has designed the Artists Home Tour taking place on Saturday, October 23 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
This intimate guided tour offers art enthusiasts an insider’s view into the creative world of five artists.
Early purchase tickets are $75 per person through October 1 and include: all transportation, tour guide, color itinerary, hors d’oeuvres, beverages, a Laguna souvenir plus an artists’ reception featuring the live music of singer/songwriter Emily Simonian.
Laguna Beach Art Tours selected five distinguished artists who would offer tour goers an exceptional adventure into their creative world. Scheduled artists include: John Barber (Master glass blower), Gerard Basil Stripling (abstract sculptor), Dedre Bickler-Sines (plein air oil painter), Rachel Uchizono (original oil painter), and Greg Thorne (turquoise jewelry).
More than a visual art adventure, the Artists Home Tour is a casual, small art tour designed to allow tour goers one-on-one time to interact with the artists. Tour goers will see art demonstrations, including glass blowing with John Barber, hear fascinating life stories, be offered exceptional art buying opportunities, and possibly invited to create art, too.
With artists’ homes hidden within the Laguna and Bluebird canyons and hills of Laguna Beach, the journey to the homes is an adventure in itself. En route to the artists’ homes, Laguna Beach Art Tours will share a bit of local history and show tour goers Laguna Beach points of interests including public art.
Advance purchase is required for this private October 23 tour; no tickets will be sold day of event. Tickets purchased by October 1st are $75 per person (a $10 savings off the regular price).
