January meeting will honor Garcia, swear-in Tsunoda
The City Council at its first meeting of the year Jan. 6 will recognize 2009 Mayor Donald Garcia for his contributions this past year and will welcome incoming Mayor Phil Tsunoda to the post.
There will be a ceremonial swearing in of Tsunoda by Patricia Bates, Chair of the Orange County Board of Supervisors. During the meeting, Tsunoda will also present his “Mayor’s Message” for 2010.
The City Council meets at 7 p.m. the first and third Wednesday of the month in Council Chambers at City Hall, 12 Journey.
