Calling all Aliso Viejo military veterans

The city of Aliso Viejo is looking for veterans with local ties to honor during its annual Veterans Appreciation program on Nov. 8.

Aliso Viejo residents and those who work in the City are encouraged to submit names of military veterans with their years of service. Veterans who have not been honored by the City before and those who are new to the community are sought. The City Council will recognize the veterans at 6 p.m. on Nov. 8 at the Aliso Viejo Conference Center, 31 Santa Barbara.

To submit a name, call Community Service Coordinator Gracie Duran at 949-425-2519 or e-mail gduran@cityofalisoviejo.com. The city is looking for veterans’ names, branch of service, years of service and Aliso Viejo home or business address. Active duty personnel are also sought for this special city recognition.
