Our students will present their holiday performances this week for your enjoyment. Please see the schedule below for your child’s performance time. Parents, please plan to leave a little early to find parking. Please remember not to park in the numbered staff spaces (these are reserved for staff members only), along the red curbs, or wherever ‘No Parking’ is posted.
Kindergarten Holiday Performance: Thursday, December 16, at 10:30 a.m. in the MPR
Grade 1 Holiday Performance: Friday, December 17, at 1:30 p.m. in the MPR
Ms. Brennan’s Class Play: Thursday, December 16, at 8:30 a.m. in the MPR
Mrs. P. Cunningham’s Class Play: Friday, December 17, at 8:30 a.m. in the MPR
Mrs. Davis’ Class Play: Friday, December 17, at 10:15 a.m. in the MPR
Mrs. Peel’s Class Play: Friday, December 17, at 12:00 p.m. in the MPR
Grade 3 Holiday Performance: Thursday, December 16, at 12:00 p.m. in the MPR
LOST AND FOUND
Is your child missing a jacket or sweater? It could be in our Lost and Found. Please stop by this week to check if your child’s missing clothing is here at LNES. All items remaining after Friday, December 17, will be donated to charity.
HONOR CHOIR
The Capistrano Unified School District 2011 5th Grade Honor Choir auditions will begin the first week of January. All current 5th grade choir members are eligible. Tryouts will be held during music time or at recess when possible. Six Wednesday evening rehearsals will be required from January 26 through March 2 at 6:00 to 7:45 p.m. at Bergeson School in Laguna Niguel. The Honor Choir Concert will be at Coast Hills Church on Thursday, March 3, at 7:00 p.m. Parent permission slips are required for the audition.
REPORT CARDS
First trimester report cards will be sent home on Thursday, December 16. Please sign and return the manila envelope to your child’s teacher when we return to school on Monday, January 3, 2011. This will let us know that you have received and reviewed your child’s report card.
WINTER BREAK
All CUSD school campuses will be closed Monday, December 20, through Friday, December 31, 2010, for Winter Break. School resumes on Monday, January 3, 2011, at 7:45 a.m.
