SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA, April 1, 2010 –– Psychologist Michael J. Bradley, Ed.D will be the featured speaker at a Capistrano Unified Council of PTSAs (CUCPTSA) sponsored community-wide parent education night on Wednesday, April 21, at 6:45 p.m. at The Hills Hotel (formerly The Holiday Inn), located at the 5 fwy and La Paz Rd., Laguna Hills. Bradley is the author of, Yes, Your Teen is Crazy!––Loving Your Kid Without Losing Your Mind.”
During this session, parents will learn the skills, strength and wisdom needed to successfully steer your adolescent through the difficult teenage years. Hear about the explosive growth and rewiring your teen’s brain is going through that results in their sometimes “crazy” behavior., and find out how to emerge from the teen years with your family intact!

Bradley is a recognized specialist in adolescent behavior and has counseled adolescents and parents for more than 30 years. Capistrano Unified Council of PTSAs is composed of PTA leaders from 52 CUSD schools. The Council meets monthly to provide training and support our units and to collaborate with other agencies. CUCPTSA’s mission is to support and speak on behalf of all children and youth in the schools, in the community and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children; to assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children; and to encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.
