Artist Dana Rosen
The beauty of hand crafted pieces never fades, no matter what medium is used to create them.
On Aug. 16 and 17, from 10 am to 5 pm, the San Clemente Art Association will present the community with beautifully handcrafted items at their annual juried Art and Craft Fair, showcased in the natural beauty of our tree-shaded San Clemente Community Center Grounds at 100 North Seville.
More than 100 artists and artisans will come together to exhibit their unique creations.
Hand sculpted pottery, fine ceramics, brilliantly colored tie dye wearable fabric art, exquisite hand created jewelry and lovingly painted original and print portraits of San Clemente local scenes mix with stunning photographs and uniquely designed home décor items.
The combination provides an array of original creations, perfect for early holiday shoppers. And it’s ok to buy something beautiful for yourself, too! Admission to the show is free.
Look for the Cart Demonstration Booth, where jewelry and painting artists will be demonstrating their special skills.
Children are invited to create their own masterpieces at a special youth booth with Mary Von Lortz. Sponsored by the Side Street Galley, it will feature free art activities for our youngest “Picassos”.
This juried event accepts only art and crafts personally made by the exhibiting artist.
It is sponsored by the San Clemente Art Association and the City of San Clemente. Visit their website at www.scartassociation.com for more information.
