The Bergeson YMCA is excited to welcome all of our new and veteran families to what looks like to be a FANTASTIC SCHOOL YEAR!!! We have dedicated ourselves to being of service to our Bergeson Families and to the community we live in, by offering the very best program we can!!! If you haven’t had the opportunity to get to know us, please stop by our INFO TABLE at the BACK TO SCHOOL CELEBRATION next Tuesday!!! We’d love to get to meet you!!!
MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!! Parent Info Night is Sept. 10th at 6 pm. We highly encourage all new to the YMCA to attend. We would also like to extend an invitation to any PROSPECTIVE families~ this is a great opportunity to come in and find out exactly what the Y is all about!!!
DOES YOUR CHILD NEED A FUN & SAFE PLACE TO GO AFTER SCHOOL? THE BERGESON YMCA HAS SPACE AVAILABLE!
At the YMCA your child will:
• Feel safe at YMCA! We are a Title 22 State licensed program that is conveniently located on campus.
• Be mentored by dedicated and qualified staff.
• Make new friends and increase their social skills.
• Receive homework support during our Healthy Mind Time
• Participate in a variety of exciting hands-on, age appropriate activities that include: Health and Fitness, Science, Arts & Humanities, Literacy, Character & Team Building, & Service Learning.
• Learn to be a TRRFCC Kid: We strongly promote the Six Pillars of Character: Trustworthiness, Responsibility, Respect, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship through our “Kids Recognizing Kids”, Kids Helping Kids” and “The Character Bank”.
• Participate in Enrichment Clubs every THURSDAY. Some examples are Cooking, Sewing, Sports, Nuts & Bolts, and Gardening etc… New choices available every trimester.
• Full-time, Part-time options, Financial Aid Available.
WE ALSO OFFER THE BEST K-PLUS PROGRAM IN TOWN!
K-Plus is a kindergarten enrichment program that runs in partnership with CUSD. K-Plus is designed to extend your kindergartener’s day in an effort to reinforce what’s being taught in the classroom. In K-Plus, your child will have a plethora of hands-on opportunities to discover and experience the world around them! This is an OUTSTANDING program and we encourage you to come in and see what it’s all about!
And YES- we do offer afternoon care for Late Start Kindergarteners.
THE YMCA WILL BE OFFERING CARE FOR BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT.
This opportunity is open to all of the families of Bergeson Elementary School.
We have a safe environment located on campus. We have games, activities, music and more!!! Each child that comes will receive a special YMCA gift.
Sign-up today as space is limited. The cost will be $5 per child and all of the proceeds will be donated to help families in need. This way EVERYBODY wins!!!
