BRICK-OR-TREAT PARTY NIGHTS RETURNS TO LEGOLAND®!

Date:

Popular Family Event Returns for 2009 Halloween Season

– LEGOLAND® California is calling all monsters, mermaids, witches, robots and pirates to the biggest kids’ Halloween celebration in San Diego – Brick-or-Treat Party Nights presented by Union Bank!

Every Saturday in October from 5 to 9 p.m. the family theme park is transformed into a not-too-spooky Halloween haven for Brick-or-Treat Party Nights featuring costume contests, nighttime trick-or-treating on the Brick-or-Treat Trail, live music and entertainment.

Several monstrously fun areas of LEGOLAND are open late for Party Nights Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31, including Land of Adventure, Castle Hill, the Imagination Zone and Park favorites Coastersaurus and Fairy Tale Brook. Little ghosts and goblins also enjoy ghoulish activities like the Haunted Hideaways and a LEGOLAND pumpkin patch build plus glow-in-the-dark treats for nighttime fun. New this year is Hubble Bubble’s Dance Party and Ultimate Dance-Off with special prizes for the best dancer and the Howler of the Hour contest returns for young guests who really want to scream this Halloween.

During the day every Saturday and Sunday in October (Oct. 3 & 4, 10 & 11, 17 & 18, 24 & 25 and 31), revelers 12 and under trick-or-treat on the Park’s exclusive Brick-or-Treat Trail. Brick-or-Treaters gather goodies including commemorative LEGO® brick, delicious treats, trading cards and other surprises. This kid-sized cul-de-sac features LEGO-themed treat stations and offers a safe, fun and entertaining trick-or-treating experience.

The highlight of Brick-or-Treat Party Nights is the costume contest where children 12 and under show off their boo-tiful costumes in three categories including LEGO, Spooky and Creative. Prize packages including LEGOLAND Resort memberships and souvenirs, LEGO toys and gifts are awarded to the winner in each category.

Every day throughout the month of October, families can climb aboard a giant LEGO jack-o-lantern to capture a fun and memorable photo. The jack-o-lantern, which is more than 7 feet wide, is made of 22,000 DUPLO® bricks and weighs 850 pounds! New to the festive décor this year is a 21-foot-tall ghost lantern welcoming guests to Castle Hill, which is the heart of Brick-or-Treat Party Nights.

All Brick-or-Treat and Party Nights festivities are included in the price of regular one-day admission. During Brick-or-Treat, LEGOLAND is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Guests planning to attend Brick-or-Treat Party Nights only can purchase special tickets online in advance for just $25 by visiting www.LEGOLAND.com/BOT. This online-only offer is for a Party Night ticket and includes a free second day admission. Party Nights tickets may also be purchased at the gate for $35 after 5 p.m. For additional information, visit www.LEGOLAND.com or call 760-918-LEGO.

SEA LIFE™ Aquarium is also getting into the spirit by staying open until 8p.m. Saturdays in October for young ghosts and goblins wanting to explore the Aquarium after dark.
