After nearly two years in the making, brother and sister pop artists, Nico Adams and Christine Olivier, have completed two self titled debut albums. Between studios and day jobs, Nico and Christine have thoughtfully crafted albums that express their individual journeys and styles, yet work together as a team to build creative synergy and strengthen their efforts. On August 27, 2011 these efforts will surface, as they will be releasing both albums at their VIP red carpet event at the Camino Real Playhouse in San Juan Capistrano, CA from 8PM-Midnight. “Nico Adams and Christine Olivier rate as some of the most talented and rising performers coming out of Orange County” says LIVE MAGAZINE publisher, Damion Stein. This is their official launch to the southern California market.
Nico and Christine both have their own unique spin on Pop. Nico is a piano driven Pop rocker, full of soul and dance ability. He is influenced by his music idols Elvis Presley, Elton John and Michael Jackson. “Nico has the intensity and fortitude of a platinum artist. His vibe is similar to a Maroon 5 or Gavin Degraw, but completely his own” says Craig Duswalt, former manager of Guns and Roses and CEO of RockStar Series for Success. Christine’s music bridges American Pop with Euro Pop. Her motive is straightforward, “My upbeat tempo is to energize all who are listening. My goal is to get people dancing” says Christine. Her electronic Pop is deeply influenced by beloved Pop Queens Blondie and Madonna, as well as her favorite Band ABBA.
They are already rocking the Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego scenes, playing venues such as Key Club, House of Blues and Palms Bar in West Hollywood, California State University Long Beach and The Irvine Spectrum. “The OC is lucky to have this kind of talent”
says Event producer, Michelle Patterson, “Nico and Christine have a flair for catchy hooks and beats that engages audiences of all ages. They have been a huge crowd pleaser and rocked the park at the Giant Orange Festival and Taste of Ladera. They had no problem sharing a stage with Lil Jon and other key artists”.
In support of their albums, Nico and Christine are set to perform together at this event with DJ Orio, drummer Lorne Ahmed and bassist John Doolittle. “This event is our Thank You to the community for being strong advocates for our music. Without their support, none of this would be possible” says Christine, “We won’t let them down. This show is going to be big”. As the guest list is rising and the date draws nearer, they are prepared and excited to showcase their music. They have worked double time to make these albums possible and plan on working triple time, so they are heard. “My sister and I have different strengths and this allows us to raise each other up,” says Nico. “In the chorus of our duet song Stop Us, it says we won’t stop till we make it to the top and that is exactly what we’re going to do. That is our testimony.”
