THANK YOU CANYON VISTA FAMILIES! – We’d like to extend a big “thank you” to all our families who have so generously donated funds for our computer lab! Whether you purchased a community card, contributed to our recycling program or made a straight donation, you have helped raise nearly $3,000 towards the purchase of new computers! But we are still far from our goal…and there are just a few days left in this school year. Community cards are still available at the low price of $10 and we are still looking for those plastic bottles to recycle. We need everyone’s help to realize our dream of new computers for our crocodiles!

2010-2011 PTSA REFLECTIONS ART PROGRAM THEME – “TOGETHER WE CAN” –

Summer is a great time to work on your entry for next year’s PTSA Reflections Art Program. The 2010-2011 theme is, “Together We Can.” Students participate in the Reflections Program by creating their works of art over the summer (or at the beginning of the new school year) and by submitting entries to our Canyon Vista PTA on October 6th, 2010. The program has six arts areas—dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, and visual arts—and four grade divisions—primary, intermediate, middle/junior, and senior. Exact rules for each area can be downloaded from our PTA website at www.CanyonVistaPTA.org along with a student entry form. One entry form must accompany each piece of art turned in for judging. We encourage ALL students to participate!
