Have a child entering kindergarten next year? The YMCA offers two programs designed specifically for you!
Our first program is the Learning Bridge, which is a kindergarten-readiness program designed to ensure your child is prepared for their first year of school. Learning Bridge is currently being offered at Oak Grove Elementary (just up Wood Canyon past Pacific Park Drive).
1st session: July 6th to July 29th (M-Th, 9am-12:30pm)
2nd session: August 2nd to August 26th (M-Th, 9am-12:30pm)
Our Kindergarten Plus program (at Canyon Vista) allows for your child to have an extended day of kindergarten. Our curriculum follows the state and school district standards and reinforces what they learn during their morning kindergarten class. We offer many hands-on learning activities, as well as art, science, music and cultural awareness. If you are interested in more information or would like to schedule a tour, please contact Stephanie Ates at sates@ymcaoc.org or call (949) 831-1264. Spaces fill up fast for these programs, so be sure to plan early!
