CVHS – Dance Dress Code
|
DRESS CODE – FORMAL DANCE |
|
|
Formal attire is required for PROM. The school dance dress code will be in effect. Violation(s) may result in non-admittance in which case parents will be called to pick up the student, or bring appropriate attire. If a dress code violation is noticed or occurs after admittance, student/attendee may be removed from the dance. If an attendee has a question about the appropriateness of his or her attire, please consult with an Assistant Principal prior to the event and/or go to www.cvhs.com. |
|
|
FEMALE ATTENDEES:
|
MALE ATTENDEES:
|
The current formal dance dress code has been fashioned in an effort to create a formal dance atmosphere that is both school appropriate and memorable for all. We want to ensure an age appropriate high school sponsored event where everyone is comfortable. Students with questions about the appropriateness of their attire may submit a picture of themselves (front, back, and side) wearing the outfit to their Assistant Principal prior to the event.
COUGAR TIP: If you are unsure whether or not your attire will meet the dress code guidelines you may bring an appropriate “back-up” outfit.
DISCIPLINE
SENIOR REMINDER
As the end of the year approaches we just want to send a friendly reminder to all our seniors to make good choices. Any serious disciplinary infraction can jeopardize your involvement in senior activities, prom, graduation or even your diploma. Remain focused and let’s have a great end of the year CLASS OF 2013!!!
REMINDER TO ALL SENIORS:
Don’t let unserved discipline hours keep you from participating in upcoming school events (ex. Prom, Senior activities). SENIORS: THIS INCLUDES GRADUATION CEREMONY!!! If you have questions regarding discipline hours or options to serve please see your assigned assistant principal.
STUDENTS NEEDING TO SERVE DISCIPLINE HOURS
All students are expected to serve their assigned discipline hours. In most cases (except tardies due to illness or doctor appointments) discipline hours cannot be excused by parents. If your student has discipline hours to serve there are many options to accommodate students’ busy schedules. See options below. Students are given at least 3 days to serve hours before they are considered overdue. Overdue hours may result in loss of privileges and/or additional consequences. Don’t let this happen. Students must plan ahead and serve their hours by the due date.
***OPTIONS TO SERVE DISCIPLINE HOURS***

(Room B4)
Detention – Monday through Friday (Room B4) 5th & 6th period*

BY APPOINTMENT ONLY:
Detention – Monday (Discipline Office) 7:00 -8:30 am (notify AP or Ms. Gomez)
Lunch Detention (with a teacher) Must be prearranged with teacher***
