Ruth Lambert GETS the funny in kids/teen/young adult comedy. She is one half of the dynamic due Lambert/McGee which CASTS “Wizards of Waverly Place”, one of Disney’s top shows. Ruth has 10 more episodes to cast in the next 3 months. Not only does she cast Wizards but she also casts fun teen animated series like the hot “Ben 10: Alien Swarm.” When she isn’t casting hit TV series, she is doing animated features like “Planet 51,” or “Any Bully.” Oh, wait, we’re not done….Ruth also does family features that highlight lots of teens/kids & young adults like “World’s Greatest Dad” & “Her Best Move” Are we done? Nope…Ruth also casts edgy teen/young adult shows like “Sit Down Shut Up” and the wild comedy “The Life & Times of Tim” on HBO.
Life and Times of Tim – is to start CASTING on its second season on HBO, AND an Untitled “XYZ” Project is a feature film brought to you by one of the most famous comedians ever (can’t reveal who he is….) that will feature a ton of teens/kids/young adults & is to be the anti-“High School Musical” Musical. AND yet again a GRS pilot – An animated pilot for the Fox Network produced by the “Robot Chicken” guys, Seth Green, Matt Senreich and Tom Root.
Bottom line, Ruth KNOWS what the networks & why they cast WHO they cast… come learn from a pro casting director who has been casting since 1991 and loves actors, loves kids & teens & wants to help them book the gigs!
For “Wizards of Waverly Place” – Robert McGee and Ruth won an Artios Award for outstanding casting for a Children’s program and the show won an Emmy for outstanding Children’s program.
