OC Parks invites the community to learn about Monarch Butterflies in their natural habitat during the 10th annual Monarch Butterfly Day at Mile Square Regional Park on Saturday, Feb. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Monarch Butterfly Day celebrates majestic Monarch Butterflies during a free day of outdoor fun that takes place in the Forest Shelter near parking lot C. Butterfly experts will be onsite to engage attendees with educational information and fun facts about the life and transformation of these beautiful and unique creatures. Park visitors can explore a netted butterfly enclosure and learn how to plant their very own butterfly garden. Families can also enjoy festive crafts, face painting, and a balloon artist, with food available for purchase.
Recommended for outdoor enthusiasts and children ages 4 to 12, discover the magnificent world of Monarch Butterflies at the 10th annual Monarch Butterfly Day at Mile Square Park. Cameras encouraged.
