Held at the rustic Aliso Viejo Ranch site at 100 Park Avenue (across from Aliso Viejo Middle School), the event features interactive historical exhibits, food, local entertainment, community booths, pony rides, a petting zoo, old-fashioned games and mechanical rides, inflatables and other amusements.
The celebration culminates with a concert under the stars featuring “Afterparty,” a popular ’80s band performing from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This year’s theme – “A Founder’s Fiesta” – commemorates the “Golden Age of the California Rancho” when Don Juan Avila owned the land in this area.
Admission is free, with nominal costs for food and certain activities. No pets or outside food or drinks are allowed.
