Dear friend, “When the month of Adar begins, we increase our joy and happiness”: We heighten and amplify all good and positive things in a joyful manner. Therefore, during the Hebrew month of Adar, it is customary to do even more joyful things than usual in every sphere of life. This Monday we enter the new month of Adar, beginning 30 days of unbridled joy, which can remedy and eliminate any and all possibilities of sadness. This month is also a time of good mazal for our people. The Talmud says one should try to schedule an important court case in Adar for extra good mazal. Adar would also be the perfect time to move into a new home, undertake a new endeavor in business or otherwise, or try something new you’ve been meaning to do but were afraid to take the leap. May it be a time when only good and joyous things happen for you, your entire family, the Land and people of Israel and all of mankind. Shabbat Shalom, |
