Attention parents! We have two very important programs with openings for a leadership position. Please consider volunteering your time for these worthwhile programs for our kids.
Blue Ribbon Week: Chair or Co-Chairs
A new PTA sponsored awareness week for bullying prevention. Similar to Red Ribbon Week, the Chair (or co-chairs) will help coordinate a few events (an assembly, a parent education night, dress-up day “wear blue”, etc.) to help raise awareness and educate students on anti-bullying efforts.
Timing: Week of January 18-21

Friday Field Days: Co-Chair
During lunch recess, every other Friday, a group of volunteers helps provide students with fun and different games (battle ball, parachute games, soccer, capture the flag, hula hoops, and more!). We are looking for someone to help the current Chair coordinate schedule of volunteers, set-up equipment, clean up and return equipment to storage shed. Without a volunteer, this program will be canceled.
Timing: Program is offered every other Friday 10:50-12:50 throughout the year. Shifts are flexible, but generally 10:50-11:50, 11:50-12:50, or 11-1pm. 4th-5th grade parents, there is a big need for volunteers during the late shift (11:50-12:50)!
